This event will show you how to get started creating basic 3D VR scenes/games. It will be more of a workshop format - I'll demo on my screen and you'll be able to work alongside me as we show the ins and outs of the software. It's easy to learn and experiment with as it's all based on Javascript and HTML.

We'll have some VR headsets so you can try out what you are creating in a proper virtual environment.

Iain’s talk will introduce the principles of trauma-informed content design using examples from his work on guidance content aimed at kinship carers. Not sure where to start with soldering or want some tips on improving the surface mount soldering on your latest project? Always wondered how to use an oscilloscope? Drop by and someone should be able to help you.

Interested in finding out about amateur radio and how to get licenced or have a licence and want to check your new radios performance on our equipment? One of our existing licence holders should have all the info you need.

People of all abilities are welcome to drop by for a chat and work on their projects using our variety of equipment in our friendly space.

This wargame doesn't require any knowledge about programming - just a bit of common sense and some knowledge about basic *nix commands. We had no idea that it'd be this hard to make an interesting wargame that wouldn't require programming abilities from the players. Hopefully we made an interesting challenge for the new ones.

Natas teaches the basics of serverside web-security.

Krypton
The Krypton wargame features encryption and ciphers.

The games start easily, but get complex quickly - so those that already know their way around will get a challenge too.

This is a great event to get to know everyone, you can work through the levels at your own pace, or just help out others that are stuck. We'll also talk you through the solutions to help beginners learn.

We're being hosted in The Gamer Club, so there is free tea and coffee, or you are welcome to bring in your own...

Aimed at absolute beginners. We'll show how to securely connect to a server then we'll work through Bandit, an adventure game set in the command line that progresses step-by-step from the basics to common programs and beyond.

This will be an in-person event in the quiet lounge of the newly open The Gamer Club, on Bath Lane next door to The Buff Club.
